Idea #4 – Notecards or Stationary

November 15, 2007 · Leave a Comment

I am always in need of a quick birthday or thank you card.  A bundle of cards put together with a list of birthdays and anniversarys would be a lifesaver for me.  You could go in so many directions with this idea – make stationary with a monogram stamp, use your own block cut stamps, make eraser stamps or forget stamping all together and sew bits and pieces of fabric to your cards.

Supplies:  Any type of blank notecard, stationary, or cardstock, stamps, and ink (you can use ink made for rubber stamps or block print ink.

Directions: Stamp as you’d like.  I used my sewing machine to sew around the edges to give it a bit more of a handmade look.  You don’t have to be perfect, if some images are a bit off it just adds a bit of character.
